cool thanks for that info. so it will cost about $750 for the front and rear sets??Falkdesigns wrote:They do not have the spindles, that is part of the strut "housing" which doesn't need replacement, you simply take out the old strut "insert" and clean out the oil (it's an oil bath OEM design) and drop in the new KYB SR Special inserts, screw the cap on and put the whole thing back in place. The rears are typical shocks. I haven't been able to get them, but OneTonGarage can, and they're about $750 which is only slightly higher than OEM price. KYB is the OEM brand so you can be confident in quality and fit. Not adjustable, but they are designed to work with lowering springs, so I assume they're shorter than stock. Excellent damping for Cali roads, I and everyone that's ridden in my car love the ride.
so its kinda bumpy?? right now im on jic vip flt-a2. i wanna go air im thinking to use the kyb with universal air. but i dont know if it will drop low enough in the front.Solini wrote:I've been riding around with the Tein/ KYB set up for almost 3 months now, and it's what's expected if you've ever driven a lowered car. Personally I don't mind and actually enjoy the pay offs you get. I guess you can appreciate it more if you drive one that has this set up and immediately after drive one with the normal set up, it's like night and day.
Ya I love the ride and the looks. BTW how is fatherhood? I'm loving it soo much that I have another one on the way!!Falkdesigns wrote:That's great to hear that the Tein's on new factory struts rides so well! I had thought it probably would work well myself, but I've had the KYB's (I know factory is also KYB) and will probably never feel that ride myself.
Rado, your kid looks almost just like mine in his halloween bear suit that was way too big, cute!!
