To SR20 or Not To SR20...Tips/Opinions! PLEASE READ!

Hey guys, I have a whole front clip Blacktop SR20DET in my garage, it's missing the intercooler piping(can probably make do w/ home depot supplies) and has a new radiator. I also bought a HKS HiPer 85mm exhaust w/ a 3" downpipe for this engine. The swap will be free because my friend will help me install it. It's in CO while im in CA w/ my NA 240 hatch. Down to money issues. I just hit a curb at 30mph and the repair is about $380. I have enough to buy the neccesary fixes for the engine(new clutch, new water pump, new oil pump): note these things are not broken, but they are the common wear items that would be stupid not to replace when having the engine out of the car.(most Jspec clutches are fried...but mine could be perfect; no way to tell unless your willing to drop it in and take it out again if it is fried...not worth it to me) Anyways, i LOVE drifting. Even though i got in accident, i love it. I was thinking about selling my clip(anyone wants it, probably sell for about 2600 shipped). It has the gauge cluster and some rear suspension, front brakes,etc. I'll take pics when i get back July 18th if anyone wants it. So im deciding if i should go ahead and install it and just immediately start saving my job money when i get back...or is it not worth it since I'll be beating the crap out of the engine drifting(although taking care of it when starting and stopping due to the turbo). If i sold it and the exhaust system i would probably buy an exhaust for my stock 240(thats a maybe, i cant stand loud *** exhausts but it does let the engine breathe a lot better) and then get a full coilover set. the suspensions getting fixed now for $350.(probably shoulda asked this before i got it fixed and saved myself $350 if i was gonna sell my sr20 but oh well.) Car has 2 dents in the back and the hoods kinda banged up from previous owner...my friends dad is a machinest and is gonna try to fix that. I'm missing a cig. lighter and the pwr antenna doesnt work. =) most of that stuff i couldnt care about. Cosmetics means nothing when it comes to drifting. I could probably get like 3k or more for everything. that would give me money to buy some int. stuff...new suspension, maybe buy a new rim to fix that one i banged up drifting(i like rims on my beatup POS...heh)...and id have a whole bunch left over for future accidents, and maybe a body kit later after i "master" drifting. The downside is now drag racing at lights which is kinda fun but seems pretty boring...and i definately wouldnt mind giving it up. I work at TacoBell KFC and used to get $7/hr. Now that i'm 16 im gonna try and find a job for 8-9/hr. I have enough right now to grab the essentials for my car and install it and pray everything goes right, and i've already paid to fix the damage. However after all that I'm broke and start on what I make at my job. What would you guys do and would anyone want my clip? Thanks ahead for all your opinions!-Galen
