to shave or not to shave

should i shave the emblems off the back of my car? i shaved the emblems off all my cars except the max because i drive it the most, being black + shaved emblems + tinted windows= getting pulled over all the time, but in my max the front windows are not tinted and not sure what it will look like, bot the e55 and gs have shaved emblems and look great

yea i have the se tails, also before i do it are there holes on the frunk that the emblems mount to b/c in my lex there were 2 holes where it said GS400 and it looked ugly and i tried to cover them and messed it up

No holes, just adhesive. Use fishing line and Goo Gone and you'll get it all off. You may also need to polish the trunk afterwards.

just don't go to town wet sanding like i did, and now i have to repaint the lid so it's glossy again

I shaved my 95 and left it for a long time. Then I went with your Max emblem. Sexy IMO. And I do not want to hear ANYTHING about the tail lights or anything else. My max is dead, be respectful.

i like the tails on the 2nd pic, but yea w/o the emblmes all the maxima trunk lid looks a little boring i'm thinking about taking off the maxiam and the 20th anniv emblems and leave the nissan one and SE

yeah i shaved mine and put 6th gen emblems under the pass. taillighti painted the emblems black

id leave these ones too. the 20th so people can see its a special edition so you can differentiate that way. but thats my opinion

I just shaved off the I30 badge and just left the infiniti name on the back. I like it
