Alright guys i found what I have found to be steal of a deal from kid at work. I found a 98 200sx SE-R the engine has 80k miles on it (car has 190k). It has an Injen CAI, b&m short shift, the last version of the hotshot headers, custom 2.5" cat back system with magna flow exhaust and resonator, and eibach lowering springs. Only problems with it are 5th gear pop out because of syncros, and a bum clutch. Also on a side note NO RUST!! The kid wants $500 would it be worth while and how much do you think it would cost for the clutch and transmission repairs?

Thanks again guys, Josh

If the engine has been maintained, 500+ a new trans isn't bad. It's also a prime candidate for a swap.

Well took the dive into this car and got it for $400 has a little normal 95 nissan rust and I ran into some other issues but all in all not too bad. I put a Stage 2 competition clutch in it. Then started going through it and found and had to replace the brake lines, fuel lines, all brake rotors, all the pads, tie rods and ball joints. I still havent got around to the transmission but not sure what I wanna do I can either replace it with a junk yard transmission or get it rebuilt by a transmission shop?? Any recommendations? Leaning towards a rebuild because I know it will be 100%.
