well the camaro has developed a fuel delivery problem and has been rotting on the lawn for 3 weeks. it has 169k doesnt burn oil no valve tap no chain rattle. only issue is the brake lines are rotted. its going to the mechanic in the AM. id like to keep it running as a winter beater so i can save the 240sx til spring. how much should i drop into it? might just be a clogged filter. could be a bad pump.

i dont knwo much about the motors and prices but if you gonna keep the car might as well just replace or upgrade as much as your funds allow in the fuel system

see what the mechanic says and go from there, thats what id do

yeah i figure id spend up to $500 if necessary. id rather take my chances in the snow with a beater. i can always sell it off for $3-400 in the spring if it still runs anywhere near as well as it did before this issue arose. i was hoping to get like $800 for it. so much for that

$500 can get your problem fixed if you DIY

once fixed you can easily sell it for $800
