Infiniti offered to buy out the last three months of my lease on my 07 G35X. I test drove a 2010 with the "S" option as I had my heart set on this feature. Unfortunately, the seats are not made for older farts with non-athletic features. I felt very compressed in the drivers seat. I weigh over 200 and am 6' 2" and cannot understand who these seats were designed for??
Then I got the baloney story that the Smoky Quartz color with Premium, Nav and "S" was a rare bird and they thought they could get sticker price for it. Am I getting smoke blown up my butt by this car dealer? I've owned four "G's" since 2003 and this will be my fifth one. Anyone else over 200 lbs have any experience with the comfort of this seat? I'm wondering if I missed an adjustment?? :gotme

IMO the 2010 G37xS is not worth the extra money... is all cosmetic... no suspension or brake upgrade... all you really get that qualifies as sport is the paddle shifters... i stuck with the 2010 G37x with nav, prem, and wood. maybey ill get the paddle shifters added later on...

I went with the 2010 non-sport sedan for the best overall ride, since I will be using it for long trips. The non-sport seats were more comfortable for me also.
I went to the dealer with the intention of buying a sport version with prem/nav. After test driving both the sport and non-sport and parking them side by side, I decided on the 2010 non-sport/ GS/ Stone/Prem/Nav.
My decision had nothing to do with the overall price. It just made more sense to me, for my intended use of the car.
I have put 6,000 miles on it, of which 4,000 miles was just one trip. So far I am happy with my decision.

The sport has a ton of features! The brakes and suspension are what made it for me. I'm similar sized and getting used to my sport seats.

I'm 6 foot 215 pounds. And, did not like the S seat at all.
I drove a NON-X S and liked the way it handled better than the NON S, but couldn't deal with the seats.
Are you getting another X ?? Like was said before, no suspension changes on the XS, but there are on the S

Yes I'm picking a 2010 X up Thursday evening. I opted for the Smoky Quartz with black gut, Premium and Nav. I could pick it up today, but I'm figuring it's going to take me two nights to clear all the music, destinations and other privacy data out of the 2007. The price you pay for technology, I guess!
I'm glad you pointed out the brakes etc. I kept asking why the "S" I was looking at had two piston regular brakes, now I know. I agree, who needs the "S" on an "X"!

I found the sport seat also uncomfortable. However it is called for sport seat for a reason.

I know few people deleted the bar inside the seat and it was much better.

I'm about 6'5" and around 250 lbs., and couldn't even comfortably get into the Sport model. The seats are pretty ridiculous in my opinion. I ended up with the X and love it. I'd pass on the Sport version personally, but to each his own.

I am 6'2", 185, and I love the Sport model! I am more comfortable in my Armada seats, but from a bolstering standpoint, I love the sport seats. My wife says the sport seats are the best seats she has ever sat in, but of course she is a girl with a totally smaller body, she moves the side and seat bolsters in further.

I like everything about the "S" model, well worth it for the price.

i opted for the non-S mainly because i got tired of having a sport suspension and just wanted a comfortable ride. the Civic Si i owned before the G had sport seats and I wasn't that comfortable but i got the hang of it. I love the seats on my G although I didn't get a chance to sit on a G with sport seats so i can't really compare.

I couldn't do the sport seats. They were just too small and uncomfortable. I opted for the non-sport sedan. Thats a bunch of BS about asking sticker on that color combo. You can easily get the car for cost. Dealers still make holdback on cars.
