i need a picture of a coupe or hatch (preferably hatch) with any type of 17 inch wheels with a 17mm offset for the rear. Did you have to pull or strecth the fenders, and if you did how far were they pulled?

thats something that the width of the wheel would help us answer... unless you mean that they are 17" wide. in that case, you will need to remove your fenders and quarter panels entirely to gain clearance.

sounds like nice wheels. with a +17 offset, you might be looking at a nice pull, i think chrislis and 974-240sx run or ran wheels that had close to those specs (at least i think so!). you should search their posts regarding wheels to see for sure.

Also, whether or not you need to pull depends entirely on how low you want to go. Although something tells me you are going LOW.

I also think you should pull it out to give it a little flare, just for esthetics. It doesn't look right to hav a wheel sticking 2-3 inches out of a straight lined body.

I have a pair of 17x9.5 +20 that I used to run. Old OZ Monte Carlos with a 245/40 tire and 2* neg camber. At about 2" of fender gap the sidewalls would rub. I am thinking if you went lower than that, you would not need more than 1/2" of pull to clear. Your tire size and camber setting will also determine how much more space you would need.
