I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks over 400 miles on a tank for a Q is rediculous. I never got close to 21 with the 92' and my 97' that was rated higher in MPG gets 20 on good days..........I'd personaly love to ride shot-gun and find out how you do it, cause I never got close.

Search for one of my old posts from Nov 07 time frame...I measured MPG from Maryland to T3 in Atlanta....had knockers,plugs,filters,plenum job, o2 sensors done then turned around and drove back to Md- about 650 miles each way with trip mpg accuraetly recorded under the exact same return trip 3 days later- shockingly, replacing plugs with 130K on them, oxygen sensors with 202K,etc did NOTHING to improve MPG....it actually went down a fraction of 1 mpg!!!!! {and the first 400 miles on return trip leaving Atlanta were done with real gasoline,as Atlanta wasnt using ethanol blend like Maryland}

'03 Q45 premium fuel 99% of the time....never noticed any issues when I used mid-grade for a quick minute either to determine if it was okay to do when gas prices hit $4.xx

You've been gone awhile. There's usually a 20cent different between the two.

WTF!?! So are you saying that it is a .40cent difference from regular to premium now?? When I went home two wks ago, it was priced $2.44 $2.54 $2.64... a .10cent difference between the octane. Where do you live at?

In Birmingham it's not the 10c diff like it's supposed to be. I think the reason is that stations drop the price of regular and only advertise it on the sign, then when you get in the mid and prem fuels are freaking expenseive!

I know which stations to go for regular at and which ones for premium.
