Need more info! What is it going on? Turbo? Exhaust u will use. All that makes a difference in performance.
If NA car with more valve lift and duration are you upping the compression to get tthe bang for the buck? If turbo then P and P usually doesnt cashin until big horsepower 400+!
Make yourself feel better an run a clean up through the intake and exhaust, shave the heads run 11 to 1 with a good computer tune, exhaust then enjoy the car.
If you bore and stroke the 2.0 add cams and port and polish on the NA car you will not get to the amount of HP an SR20DET has without going to 14 to 1 compression and running race gas.
Just my opinion but have done that on other 4 cylinder cars chasing the 250hp mark and couldnt get there with a 2 litre motor.
