I've got a notch top in an s13 and today I went to put my front strut bar on and it doesn't clear the valve cover. I know the valve cover is taller than the KA but I kinda figured it would work The strut bar is Tanabe and I'm sitting on project silvia motor mounts, which actually make the motor sit a bit lower than stock so I don't see why this would be an issue. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Fits fine in my S14 with a notch top... Cusco strut bar clears just fine... I think what your problem is, the S13 was never introduced with a notch top, so they have the strut bar placed for an S13 without the notch... Therefore you'll never get a strut bar on, unless they make a custom one for the notch top in the S13 chassis...

Hahahaha. Yeah man, right on the A. I didn't know if it was just me becuase I know broadfield has a notch top in his coupe and he's running a cusco strut bar. Then again, he's known for making things fit right.

I thought it would be my nismo mounts since i herd it raises the motor up a bit. also cause Ive seen some other s13's with s14 sr's and they had a strut bar.
