i was wondering if you can help me do check something with my 1990 240sx. My check engine light been on for about a month now and the car runs fine but i feel like the car has lost some power due to the problem and l don;t feel like cashing out 1-2 hundred dollars on mechanics that can even fix the problem. I took it to 2 different mechanic already and they have only temporarily fix the problem. then i'll drive the car for about 2 hours or so and the light comes back on. i don't know how to pulled the code so therefore i was wondering if you can help me, i;ll even pay you. i just need to take care of this because it's bugging the hell out of me. do you have a reciept from the prior mechanics when they worked on it? They are suppose to list the codes on the R.O. on your copy. I wouldnt mind doing the work for ya but the soonest I could look at it would be next monday as this week i am back and forth to the bay area all this week. I have to work saturday and sunday we are celebrating my sons birthday, my wifes birthday, here older brothers birthday, her younger brothers birthday, my sisters birthday.........Umm I am BUSY sunday..lol

i don't have the receipt from the mechanic sinces it i didn't pay them the money. The previous owner paid for the work. I tried to call the shop and ask the for the guy who work on my car but he was never available. The MEchanic don;t seem to know much about 240's and my friends are honda freaks so thats pretty much cancel out the whole friend thing. My car is a 1990 240sx se stock. which monday are you talking about - Monday 3/11 or Monday 3/18. thanks for the help.
