ive read everything about z31 boost levels, but today it was 40 degrees and i was running 13lbs and no detonation on 93oct gas. do you guys think i will be fine at this boost level. also ok all i had done to my car was 10 lbs open down pipe and no pwr steering or ac or clutch fan. and some how i managed to run a 13.3. any idea what is done to my car that i dont know about that could make me run this. haha i sound like such a noob but o well.

NOOB!!! haha

You got two bottles of NOS in there? j/k man

I think you should be ok with 13lbs as long as everything is in order and you're detonation free.

unless you added an intercooler I'd keep a real close eye on it in warmer weather, I know 10psi is the limit for the L28ET without an intercooler but the stock ECU, top ring land and the cast pistons are all notoriously weak int he L28

Only when the injectors, ECU, fuel pump, etc can't keep up.

Otherwise, your foot is the best boost controller around.

Z-Bum, what would be some good upgrade junkyard injectors for both the z31 low impedence and the high impedence injectors? I was just curious on what cars have those style injectors and what flow rates. Thanks,

DustinZ

way off, Rx7 injectors are completely different than z31 injectors, Rx7 injectors are top fed direct by a fuel rail that bolts down to them, Z31 injectors are top fed by a hose to the fuel rail. Two different style injectors. Be carefull what you post because you might really throw someone off that might not know any better and might end up coming out of pocket or worse.

*****Z-bum,******** I know some early mercedes are the right top fed type and are 380cc, I don't know anything about domestic cars but I think Ford has some injectors that would interchange?
