Thinking bout goin with this mod. Are there any reasonable gains here after the bolt ons that I already have. I was reading in the past that there was a signifigant difference with this mod when installing on a non rev up motor compared to a rev up motor. Any input? Wes

check this thread out.... http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread?id=228251

it's a long one.

from the research that i did some people didn't notice much and it's kind of pricey. save up and get a Stillen exhaust

i believe you have a revup engine so if you do go with the MREV2 than keep your spacer on.

let us know.

He already has an HKS exhaust.

At first I wasn't sure if I noticed a difference. After a couple days of hammering it...I did see a gain

you have an 06 so i'd say do it...i'd go with the 5/16 spacer and mrev...makes a pretty big difference...it also makes you car sound that much better...not sure you'll be able to hear it over you hks and test pipes though! lol

does anyone know if the mrev will work on the 2003 automatic? it says you can send in your core plenum for a discount so I'm not sure if that means that it will work or not. I also already have a kinetix v+ plenum installed which is the top half of the plenum. Thanks.

Dumb question, but what does 'rev up' mean?

the rev's come with the 05's 06's and 07's...they have bigger cams so they rev higher and have 298 hp...

3/8" Spacer, Copper ISO-Thermal kit and MREV lower plenum on my 2004 6MT coupe here.

Some have commented that they thought the MREV causes the non-revup motors to run lean. Although I haven't gotten an AF reading, I can't feel or hear any ping. I would be a bit more concerned if I had HF CATS and/or performance exhaust.

I added MREV a few months after spacer and could definately feel a difference with each add. Much stronger pull in the 3-5000 rpm range, especially 2 - 3rd gear. I only run Sunoco 93 to be safe.
