My SR is in the process of gettin dropped in... and I am not sure if I want to come power steering. I have never driven an FR car without power steering.... does it become a hassle countersteering and stuff? I need some opinions please.

but when u live in florida, especially rite now the humidity is the worst! even if u roll the windows down all u get is hot air while driving, then u gotta stop at a light, and its just a sweat war.

No trying to jack the thread, but I would prefer power steering as a daily driver. Also, does the KA24DE PS pump fit on the SR? Just by LOOKing, they seem to, but I have yet to actually take it off my KA and try putting it on my SR.

Thats why I love california. Even when its 100 degrees outside its dry as hell and theres almost always a decent breeze where I live :D

Hell even living literally right next to the beach can make one wish they had A/C during the summer time. Yesterday was hot as hell and I was dying without A/C. Even having the windows down like mentioned before is a HUGE sweat war at a stop light. I can live with it for a couple months a year, but damn it would be nice to have my A/C back!!

But back to the actual thread; it's definitely a wise investment to get the PS lines man. It's cheap and good to have. What if you decide to sell it sometime down the road (not saying you ever will, but if you did..) not only would you have to let them know it doesn't have A/C but no P/S either! lol. Plus parking in tight areas is going to be a PITA.

My good old CRX had one accessory. The alternator. It ran on an unorthodox racing underdrive single pulley. It was fun when it was nice outside but it SUCKED every other time.

When it rains you can't see and that is when the rwd is the most fun so i'de definately stick with AC no matter where you are.

When I had my CRX i had no A/C and no PS... it wasnt all too bad exept for those hot summer days when I would get out of my rex and had my shirt stuck to my damn seat...

I am thinkin about droppin both and gutting the car as well, thats like 100lbs or so of unsprung weight. Yummy :)

I opted to keep my ps. My A/C is not working at this point (figuring out the lines issue) but you can bet your *** that I'm going to get it working soon. Albuquerque traffic always sucks because of stupid construction, and its hot as hell! My A/C didn't used to work for awhile, and one day in a traffic jam, with my throat so dry I wanted to drink my own piss, all sweaty, dehydrated, and wishing I could roll up my windows to block out all the honking of pissed off drivers, I decided A/C is mandatory for a car you actually drive in hot weather.

I'm keeping my A/C and ditching the P/S. It is 104 today in Oklahoma.
