Found some stuff about Infiniti's future. Let me start with the Infiniti "Kuraza" concept. Debuting Jan. 10 @ Detroit auto show:

"The Infiniti Kuraza Concept takes an exploratory look at future SUV interior design, starting with equal comfort, amenities and roominess provided for all passengers. The Kuraza Concept combines traditional Japanese design cues, extensive use of natural materials and modern technology to create a highly social, highly luxurious interior environment. The Kuraza Concept makes its global debut at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 10, 2005.

Infiniti will also show production versions of the powerful new 2006 Infiniti M performance luxury sedan, which goes on sale at Infiniti dealerships nationwide in early spring 2005. "

Evan's opinion: Looks like a Mini Cooper SUV

I've heard a few different opinions on this one, from G25 (with BMW bringing the 2 Series compact in), to the next Sentra (doubt it), to a 250 Z. Which one makes more sense to you?

Well read the last paragraph of this (and make sure you read the rest (!) to make some sense of what I said above...:

V8 True? I doubt it, but I'd call Car & Driver a reliable source:

"The illustration below depicts the upcoming Nissan Skyline GT-R. The GT-R version of the Skyline has always been a special high-performance offering in Nissan's lineup, and this one will continue that tradition. The GT-R probably has the record for the number of car-mag stories about a vehicle that has never been available in the U.S., and it remains high on our wish list.

Built on a new platform that is not shared with the standard-model Skyline, or Infiniti G35 coupe, as it's known stateside, it will likely make the GT-R far more expensive than run-of-the-mill G35 coupes.

There are conflicting reports out of Japan regarding the powerplant. One camp believes the GT-R will be powered by a Cosworth-developed twin-turbo version of the current 3.5-liter V-6, offering at least 450 horsepower. Others believe a new twin-turbo 3.2-liter V-6 will get the call.

To make sure the GT-R has supercar handling, chassis engineers from Lotus were selected to develop its steering, suspension, and drivetrain. Could this special Skyline so long denied to U.S. enthusiasts finally come to the States? "G35 GT-R" has a certain ring to it, but it's up to Nissan or Infiniti's product planners to decide whether it will come to our shores."

No doubt the the halo car will make a HUGE splash. The miniature one would look strange in an Infiniti showroom next to the M45. Perhaps if it was topless and competed with the Z4..
