To Fix Rim Or Not To Fix Rim???

ok so heres the issue. couple months back i hit a pothole at night & bent one of my rims. The bend doesnt look serious but the rim started leaking air. about 2 weeks ago i started to feel my car rumbling as i drove & began to worry. I ended sold my stocks in the beginning of the year (stupid move on my part ) so i went & picked up a set of g35 rims. when i took off the privats i saw that the tire had a huge a** bubble in it on the inside of the rim (which is why the car rumbled) & the tire was popping off the rim slowly. also there was another slight bend on the inside of the rim.

i put the g35 rims on & im not sure if i wanna take them off now... i love my last set of rims & would fix them but not sure i should. i was contemplating on whether or not to part with them & sell them off.

to fix the rim i got quoted $125 to fix the bend & resurface the slight rash i got also.

im going back n forth & around n circles... some of my friends told me they like the g rims better n then couple say they like the privats

so i figured let me hear wat you guys have to say.

i appreciate all the advice every1 i really do!!! so im definitely keeping the rims now... but im not gonna put them bak on right away.

what do you guys think about powder coating them gold? & making the lip black? w/ black lugs? & black calipers?

i wouldnt end up trading the rims... woulda sold them & probably got an exhaust... then later on in the future got new 5-spoke rims w/ a nice chrome lip on them... thanksz though

where did you take your rims to get fixed??? & how much did it run u?

WheelrepairsolUtions. I paid 85 per rim with a choice of what ever color I wanted.

i agree black with silver lip, but you should do red calipers tho, match ur tail lights & that nismo sticker on ur front lip of the fascia

yea i had to drive bak home like that cause there was a bubble in 1 of my front tires so it needed to be changed asap... you could imagine the way ppl were looking at me when i drove home
