To Drift, or Not to Drift?

Nissan dominates the drift scene - Always has, always will.

Just out of curiosity, how many people on here drift or go to drift competitions or what not with their 240's? and how many people use and like them because of the SR20DET capabilities?

:D

I just got the car recently so the need to learn drifting is a must, but not on the roads. I would rather learn on a track.

And yet when it's set to music and taking place in Japan it rocks. :D

I don't drift. If I had another car to drive I would be alot more apt to. I just can't see the thousands I have spent on my car going to $h!t because I over corrected on my countersteer. My car is strictly a street car. I love watching others have their fun though.

well i drift just not in a long time... car been down... sr20 tein he and some other goodies... gt28rand new mani ..heheh .. can't wait... but all aside.. keep it on the track ... the drifting on the street is less expencive and you can always do it but what happen when you go in to a turn lose it and slide into a kid ..... lets not let drifting become the bad thoughts that drag racing has become in our scence... lets try and bring some real respect and honor into it ... be responcible and respectfull..not "young punks with fart tubes and slamed cars".... just be responcible and safe...

:werd Just about every night/other night I run this little "touge" near my house. And twice to three times I week I meet a bunch of my buddies and we ride out to this business park with a bunch of open parking lots and set up cones. Only crap cops have given us was to "Have a happy easter and be careful"

I was into drifting when I was 16, that was back in 1994. I pretty much got over it a long time ago. I'd rather spend my time and tires on a road course.

hmmm... In his Kei Office S14, Tsuchiya is taking avg sized turns at an average speed of 60 KMH. What kinda turns are you taking Marshun, and what kinda stuff have you done to your car to make you drift faster than the "drift king" himself :rolleyes ?

Im tired of everywhere I go kids (ie under 20) asking if I drift.

I dont find any appeal in drifting, i raced all my life in karts then sports cars. Motor racing is not meant to be judged.

Drifting competions are judged...............just like ICE SKATING.:rolleyes

But keep on crashing/drifting guys...........Its a golden age for 240 parts.

Some are here for KA24DET capabilities, and CA, RB, VG etc. capabilities too ;) Personally, I like spinning the tires, I like spinning the tires around turns, but I'm not going to call it drifting and I doubt I'm ever going to tell people I "dorifto".
