haha damn son, I didn't even play in the beta days...
I'm a 1.1'er...
Steam is this annoyance from valve...it seems to always give grief...on the plus side, I didn't have to buy Day of Defeat to play it or anything...hell, I can even play Halflife with only buying the retail version of Counter Strike...
If you've got a cd key, perhaps you should download it and check it out?
in 1.6 CS, we have riot shields! and man do they annoy people...
