ok so heres the deal, come the end of summer i hope to have a little more then 3 grand saved up for my 89 coupe..... im having trouble deciding silvia front end or keep the nose and put an aero on it. either way the sr20 and a 5 speed are going in. im trying to docide, the silvia looks really good and i could jus buy a front clip ( im a little concerned if all the parts will be there or if theyll be in good shape) or if i should jus buy the motor and trans. im leaning towards the silvia right now, let me know what you peoples think

I was thinkin about the same thing before, but I decided to forget about the silvia front. I just cant justify spending a GRAND on changing how the front end looks. Spend the extra money on a nice FMIC or suspension or something.

Yeah, forget the aero and the Silvia front end. Just get some hot suspension work, or like Fiznat said, a chunky front mount. Hell for a G I'd take a Nismo LSD over a Silvia front end.

does the 3 grand include the sr and 5spd swap if it does its goin to take all of that to get it in there

tru, tru...enigine first, suspension 2nd, wheels and tires 3rd, jdm exterior 4th, comfortable seat for YOU to sit in 5th, upgrade turbo wit FMIC 6th, system 7th, plates 8th, beating the hell out of all the rice boys who think that 240's are slow...PRICELESS! ____________________well atleast thats what im doing!

well you see the thing that gets me is the clip comes with motor and trany.... i think its about 3500. but if i were to buy the motor n transmission sep its around 2500 and i might need some parts from the car it came from right? intercooler and what not (will be upgraded but i can only afford so much making 5.25 at a body shop . also aero kits come out to be more then a g anyway, well most of the ones that actaully has a purpose. i dont wanna go around with a huge *** bumper that slows me down. i gotta show the muscle car guys at work whats up with what. "me and my four cyl what?!!" - what i say after ive smoked em:rolleyes
