To anyone who is thinking of the 5 speed swap and debating it...Go for it. I just did mine yesterday and finished all the wiring today. The car feels like a totally different vehicle.
Just a little info to think about if you are going to do it:
Forget the hardline going from the master to the slave cylinder. Get a stainless line and run it straight the beeding of the lines will be soooooo much easier.
Don't cut your AT harness you may need a few wires from it. I needed the wires going from the starter to the oil pressure sending unit to the plug directly under the fuse box in order to get my car to start.
Before you do the swap make sure your bolts out of your AT will be long enough to reach through the holes in the 5 speed into the motor, I had to get some about an inch longer. Oh yeah and a lot of extentions for your ratchet!
When lining up the transmission with the motor keep it in gear so you can turn the driveshaft and line up the spleens and the transmission will just sliiiiiiiiiide in.
I did this in an 96 s14 with a 95 transmission. Oh and by the way I hear alot of people say that their cruise doesn't work after MINE DOES!!!!! If anyone has a question about anything I will be glad to help just email me

Once again it was totally worth it,but I couldn't have done it without help from NICO. Thanks everyone!!!!!
