has anyone who ahs done the swap have their old KAE lying around? mine blew after i bought my 240 and was driving it home. i had to tow it the rest of the way. it sucks so much having a 240 and not being able to drive it! please tell me if you would like to sell me your old one. thanx

where are you located? I have a kaE that was pulled from a high mileage car. It ran when pulled but has sat for a while. All the parts are there but I think its missing some bolts and stuff (and the harness and some other stuff). I have a ka24DE 5spd trans that is f*cked up and a ka24E one that I'm asking $50 bucks for, so if you need a trans I can do that too. Anyway the kaE is completely free if you can come pick it up, otherwise we might be able to work out a fair delivery fee if you don't live too far away. Its located in Burton, WV.

i live in boston mass and dont mind paying the shipping charges. how many miles are on your kae24e? mine blew at 167k so im looking for one with lower miles.

boston? **** thats pretty far. I dunno, I'd think gas to get to boston and back would be like $200 or something. The engine does have like 190k on it too. lotta miles. ran pretty good though.
