Well about 2 weeks ago I picked up my car from top hat performnce. they Reman HeadDeck BlockHone Block Brian Crower BC0200 Titanium Springs and retainers Match PortBlock AssemblyThrust bearingThermostatPistion rings Main bearingsMr gasket Exhaust maniflod Gasket Rear main Seal front main seal Spark plugs heater hose Coolant hoses Belts Sr PS pump Inter cooler pipe Silicone Reduce Instaltion Well I got the car back and has a lot misfiring and ran like **** Well I got home W/o any tail lights I pluged up the plug under the dash my fuse covers are missing under the hood and in the car I got the car to run a little better since i pluged up 2 more wire under the hood there are still 6 or 7 plugs that i can not find and I replaced the fule filter so it runs a little better. But it car Dies out in the lower RPM Smells like gas like it is runnig rich and top hat said the turbo gasket to the mainfold was leaking that was what the sputering is ? I also devloped a oil leak the second day they said they would replace it but i have not gotten down there to have them look at it. Nissian dealership put in on a lift and there was oil coming from the oil pan. the turbo had a small stream flowing from the front of the turbo and a trubo line. I have 3 questions 1. How do I check the timing with a timing light? 2. I post up pictures of the unused plugs and what do they do so i can eather plug them up or cut them off.3. Any other suggestions you might have for me before i go back to top hat P.S. The turbo souds like it spools just not power. ONCE agian I have NO PROBLEMS WITH TOP HAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GOET OVER THERE SINCE I AM WORKING SO MUCH.Just looking for help the wiring was done by someone else 1st time E-e motorsports with the RB25 2nd time leathal injection with the SR20 THe Sr Blew up the first time I had not had it 3 days but this was due to me letting my friends drive and the went out hot roding with out me in the car in the way to a gast station

Also during Drive it bucks up a lot and esc at more than 25% throttle and it dose not rev pass 3500-4000 occasionaly it goes to 4-4500 RPM Here are the Pictures .Plug NUmber 1 PLug Number 2PLug Number 3 PLug Number 4

so you took it somewhere to get this done and got it back running like this???whytf wouldnt you tell them.I wouldnt have left that street with it running like that

that swap looks horrible, i would NEVER have taken my car there do have a ****ty job like that done. ok first of all , your gonna have alot of plugs left over that your not gonna use. just look at the write up on http://www.FRsport.com and look at which plugs arent used. and goodluck. i m too lazy to type. ive been doing sr swaps all week.

Depending on how much you paid these people to do this, you really should take the car back up there and demand something better. Your naming some signs of some really not so great things happening to your motor/turbo. If you don't know how to replace gaskets, ect.Basically, they are going to have to take some things apart and troubleshoot your problems. Hope everything works out.

thanks for the frsport site. i was about to ask the same question abouthe plugs. just installed my sr redtop three days ago and i was going bonkers trying to figure out where all the plugs go. i got most of them but couldnt find where the others went... do i have to plug in the ac unit to the harness or is it just a waste of weight?

Ok so i have no Spark and my ECU says 55All Lights come on but will not crank I cut 2 of the un used wires by the ignitor and soderd the 2 wires together that we hook up with a connecting spade

these guys are right Sean. Like I told you via e-mail, ride them until they get it right. Ask them to come pick it up too, they shouldn't have an issue with that since it's not driveable, that is, if they care to honor their work.

the 2 wires you cut were grey right?, and it looks to me that your using a 300sx ignitor. if so those wire are useless.

i called today and theyt said they were busy and could on get the car and get to it next week on tuesday.

The swap looks fine to me, except for the wiring, which the OP said Tophat didn't do.

I cut plugs's number 3 and 4 in the first post I get power but the starter will not turn PLus I have to bring them the car they will not come

the first thing i noticed is that they didnt set your CAS right. on the pic the bolt is all the way down of the adjustment, it should be in the middle play with that and see if it runs better. and why is it not cranking now? you said it was running in your first post and now its not?

check ur intercooler for leak. if u have side mount intercooler check where u cap off the original bov. friend of mine has same problem. car wont rev over 4k, turbo spools but no boost, sputter and smell gas all over the places.

Pluged those two together yesterday the two hoses were loose Now the car still breaks up and sputters like it is firing on empty cyliners so i do think it is the cas that needs to be adjusted I just hope i have not craked a pistion while drivng it till i can get it to them cause For 1700 Dollars i woul have thought it would run perfect
