Well, I made it here. Ive been offline for quite some time, but I do my part in getting the facts straight. What am I to tell you guys whove been waiting for the next gtr like me for a few years, well I recently got some new information which I sent to mark thorugh his website(r35gtr.com) but I guess he didn't read it, as I asked him to forward it back to me some 2-3 weeks ago. Anyways, from what I know now, is that the name is going into debate at nissan. Just a week ago they brought up "V-36" into the mix, which hinders things a bit. It will go as Skyline V36 and possibly in the States when it crosses over as G36, the regular model, nothing in semblance to the next gtr. Although it brings problems, I mean obviously you can tell they skipped a number there right. I mean yes ok, they've had G35 in the states and V35 in Japan out for some time now, but why retire and make a new model in all. Its not going to be a LM platform now, in fact the new gtr will be based on the FM platform if I have it right, meaning quite lengthy and big in stature. What I find odd is that they are still from what I now, going in the same direction and most likely WILL use r35. Since I work a part-time at nissan, I do what I can, but I can't guarantee Ill be able to find out what is going on with the names. I still don't have any freaking time to myself, to post new pics. Ive been in the process of getting a new comp, and Ive had no 'net access and most likely will not with what is going on now. I can't wait till summer again, to do all that I couldn't do this past summer. Hopefully by then, I'll have much more information to give out. This new model is expected to ship out in Japan early 2006, I know it's far away but just to hint at what's in store for 2006. It's expected to have some 300hp or so, but Im just putting out a vague but close estimation at its power figures. It's multilink suspension and high performance shocks all round for the next gtr, so that's quite good. Anyone who's interested please ask whatever is on your mind. I'll do my best to answer within my capacity, and there are no "dumb questions" so feel free to ask anything about the next skyline* and next r35gtr. *-Not the same thing, totally different models.
