Personally, I do not see much of a problem with it. I'm okay with the two girls fighting. To me it's a solution to a problem, If i never fought I would never be able to understand some people.

I think her mom is a piece of s***. So what if the fight would have happened anyway?? If you are there (and why the hell was she there anyway?) you intervene. That's what being a parent and an adult is all about.
