Had a quick very random question... not trying to be a jerk... I was just thinking about Bowling for Columbine.. and I was wondering how many of you actually leave your front doors unlocked???

I looked at a pic of one of the member's car, and his garage was wide open.. just made me curious...

Haha I'm going to assume it was my picture. My girlfriend and I just live in the basement suite so I can't say it was me who left the garage door open. The mother of the house was actually outside gardening which is why the door was open. As far as leaving the doors unlocked, I used to live in an upscale area with my family and we never left the door unlocked, and I still don't. But, I do know that there is quite a few Canadians, usually the ones that do not live in metropolitan areas, that do leave there doors unlocked. I lived in a small city for quite a few years and some of the families I knew left their doors unlocked over night. Absolutely crazy if you ask me.

front door always stays locked unless someone comes to it, we use the door in the garage.

My front door is always open, unless we go to bed, or unless the my wife is home alone. My beer fridge is in the garage so, i am in and out all day

My garage door is generally open too.... but i live on a quiet court, and i can see people around my property from the livingroom

Plus, i hope people jack my ****, i have nothing worth anything

Doors locked actually in Feb we were victims of a Break and Enter.

BTW... no one robs their own neighbors... most likley culprits are installers of some sort... cable, electrician etc... 40% odds theyve been in the house already!

I personally leave the door unlocked, and sit with my face pressed against the peephole.. if someone approaches, i slam my door into their face (knocking them on the floor), i rifle thru their pockets... then yell "you got knocked the f-out!"
