So after lots of research and speaking to multiple dealers I have come to the conclusion that we are pre-wired for fogs. I checked some other forums who have diagrams n everything so I decided to check my fuse box. Well my fuse box didn't look like the diagrams from the other forums :-( but on the inside of the cover it clearly labels where the fuses are for the fogs and to my not so much surprise the fuses are there :-) . I just have to check now where the wiring harness is that goes to the fog light. I will post pics and let you know as soon as I can.

Good information to know for us Canadianas. Better information would be where us Canadians can BUY OEM fogs for less than 200 bucks!

Well for less then 200 will be hard especially with the exchange rate. The other thing that you will need for OEM style fogs is the switch that will replace you existing light and wiper controls. That can be purchased from http://www.buynissanparts.com and that part number is 25560ja015 witch goes for 125 USD. Its easy to do and there is some instructions on one of the AC forums. Its 6 screws and about 20 min just for that. For the OEM fogs there are tons out there but nothing that I can find for less then 200 but if you have any luck let me know.

Yea, just because a fuse is there doesn't mean anything. I'm sure you have fuses all throughout your car that don't power anything. I would get the wiring schematic from Nissan.

Yes, all Canadian Coupes are pre wired for fog lights. You do have to purchase the seperate switch which is overpriced, but you could probably get a non-OEM switch and that may be cheaper but not as nice and then it may not work with your auto headlights. The wiring for the fogs is attached to the wiper fluid reservoir.

Let me know if you find any good fog lights, as I am doing these in spring!

What about the 3.5 ? If am looking to install HID, would that be a H11 bulb ?

3.5 fogs are the same as the 2.5's. and yes, H11 for hid's for either the fogs or the headlights.

Does anyone know how these lights plug in? are they plug and play into our factory harness or do we need to wire up a switch through the firewall and into the dash?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

They look like they fit perfectly like OEM fogs, has anyone bought these?

I'd buy them myself and be the guinea pig, however i already bought autopia lights to test and found them to be crap, so someone else's turn now

I have been looking to find the wiring but I cant see it. I think I have to put the car on a hoist and remove the wheel well plastics.

I wouldn't think that you'd have to hoist the car.. i'm pretty sure removing the bumper would enable you to find the wiring. I've heard that the wires on the passenger side is attached to the wiper fluid tank.

Hmmm... You should be able to see the wiring if you remove the front bumper.

So I installed the switch and the fog lights. The switch was $70 and the lights were $350. The install was quick and easy and dont let any dealer convince you that you need a harness (canadain AC's only). They were trying to charge me 500 for the harness they said that they wantes 1200 to install them.

I got the switch from ebay for 70 incl. exchange and shipping and it was genuine Nissan. I guess I just got lucky because I later checked with Nissan and they wanted 120 with trade price. By trade price I mean my uncle who is a body shop guy gets them for cost plus roughly 5-10%. He also got me the lights because they wanted 650 from me. If I tell you they wanted 1200 plus taxes for everything installed I bet you wouldn't believe me but they did. They were telling me that I needed the harness to hook everything up and all this b.s. that they needed to remove the dash and steering wheel. I did it myself in an hour being careful not to break any clips and plastic covers. I took all the pics on my iphone to show everyone the install but I got robbed for my iphone at knife point by some n*##ers.
