So I finally got a 2008-2010 20inch set of QX56 rims for my 2006. I always liked the look of the 2008 compared to the 06, especially the wheels. Finally found a good deal, so I figured I'd take it after 3 years of just contemplating.

Anyways, the tires and rims came already balanced (bought from a guy who used them only in summer for his qx56). My concern is the whole TMPS thing. If I get new sensors, do I have to get them rebalanced all over again? Is it possible to have them take the old sensors and put them on? Can i use them without the sensors?

The extra cost of rebalancing and new sensors might be too much for me to stomach..lol.

You might be able to just get the whole thing re-programmed. You might have to take a trip to the stealership for that though :(

the sensors were inside the new rims/tires. they just did a normal swap and reprog the existing sensors. whole thing cost about $100, so i was ok with that. thanks
