Next Tue. at 10p.m. The Learning Channel is premiering a show about drifters. Saw a couple of s13's and the Falken drift car in the previews. Looks like it will be really good. Just thought I would put the word out there.Josh

To quote the learning channels website

"Rear wheel drive cars dance across the arena in the new sport that everyone is talking about—drifting. Trace this growing movement from its Japanese origins and explore the subculture that's revived the rear-drive compacts of yesteryear."

rides tends to always impress me. just the style of the show, something about it, it isnt all "riced out" and trying to be hip and **** like the other shows have seemed to be (super tuner tv and such) some good publicity for the sport should be good.

I totally agree with black s13, TLC makes really great shows, I am assuming it will be a lot better than that street racing episode on MTV. It just makes people who are in to import cars look like idiots. This show should be very informative plus it seems like it will be giving a lot of info. on how drifting got started as well.

P.s. Thanks AZhitman I just wish I wasn't in college b/c then I would actually have money to do something besides little $100 mods. I guess I will just have to wait a couple more years. I already told my g/f that I was keeping this car forever and she thinks I am kidding but I'm not.:D Josh

Love drifting...if only I could do it....and I was watching that thing on the Elenors too....that was sweet. Another show I like to watch on there is Overhaulin. I love seeing what they do to those people's cars, also how they freak out when they figure that their car has been stolen or something. I'll be sure to watch that thing on drifting thou.
