Hey, installing my new gauge rings for my 1993 300zx with a Titanium ring set from Z1 marked (92+). My larger rings (Speedo & Tach) fit fine, clicked right into place with a snug fit. The smaller rings arent fitting in place unfortunatly as the rings seem a hair too big. Does anybody know of this issue? I've searched the web and cant find anyone with this same issue. Maybe a remedy to it perhaps or a link to solve this? thanks guys

Are you sure the gauge cluster itself is 92+?

I would assume it hasn't been changed, it's covered in Japanese writing on the back of it and my car is JDM. That's not to say it wasn't changed over there. Any way to find out? I might have to bore the hole out a little bigger which is not what I want to do

Not sure if there is a difference really, but have you tried just using a little lubricant like Vaseline or grease to get it to go in?

K. it might also help to run a piece of sand paper around the edge of the plastic (where the ring is going to sit). Nothing too crazy just lightly to get the surface smooth
