Going to be installing these in the next few weeks - only slight modifications necessary.

You can see in this picture the flange will need to be shaped slightly. Notice the round black marks at the top and bottom of this port. That is the shape of the stock port on the M45 and should not necessitate any welding.

Here is the shot of the collector - that little piece in the middle is JBA's proprietary firecone collector. It is to reduce turbulence and enhance the merging of the exhaust pulses to improve performance.

Notice the spacing of the exhaust ports - the spacing is exactly the same on the Titan - to the M45 - to the LS1 chevy. I also speculate they are the same for the 5.0 302ci mustang engine as well. This might open the door for us if we want inexpensive headers/long tube/shorty's in the future because these headers are redily available and made with the best materials cheaply. We would only need to lop off the flange and have an M45 flange welded on.

This thread says the headers are on the car...so lets see it!!. Hope it turns out well. Good find Ken. Keep up the good work.BTW did you already modify the header by cutting off the flange? Also will these bolt right up to the OEM location to the cats with no modification.

OK - OK - I did mislead you guys a little bit with the title, but rest assured they will get installed within the month!

Oh, and to answer your questions - I don't know....the stock truck header as compared to the M45 header are as follows -

KEEP IN MIND - Those are headers from the 2003 Q45 being compared to the truck header.

any progress yet? I would like to know what type of mod will be necessary because I'm thinking of getting custom headers installed but would rather get some altered if it would fit and be cheaper.

I haven't had time to mess with them since I took those photos last. When they get done you guys will see the results - and they will be good.

I'm back! Haha, just got back in the game with an M56.

I probably won't mod it like my old M45 but I'll be available to answer questions. Mostly I'll be on the M56 page.
