i am in despreate need of tires..i have a set of 17x7 wheels at home that needs tires and i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions

im looking at a set of used Continental Sport Contacts which are 215/45/17what do you think?the guy wants to sell them for 300 for all

then i was looking at Falken K something 425 or what ever...they're 92/each and total 416 shipped to my doorbut they're brand new

if not any of you guys have suggstions?

i need tires that are 215-225/40-45/17

any good ones u used and liked?

PS: the tires on my 17's right now are bald they used to be Kumho Ecsta SPT. i need something in the same performance area.

The Conti's aren't a terribly good tire. They tend to wear fairly fast IMO.

so i hear....but grip wise are they good?

i plan to use them as a weekend track tire for fun

In dry grip they are "ok". You can definitely find a better performing tire. These came stock on the Spec-V's a couple years back. If they are cheap and your using them to fool around with then it sounds like a decent deal but go new if you can.

yea thats what im doing..im curretnly building a budget track car and im useing these as my basic DD wheels

not looking for too much from them...just as an upgrade from my Michilin All Seasons
