I have to replace my OEM 17 inch Goodyear tires on my 2010 G37 sedan. I drive my car the sped limit almost all the time except when merging on to the freeway its nice to step on the gas and have a car that can GOOO!!! Im just looking to replace my OEM tires with good quality tires. I was thinking Michelin Primacy MXV4 which is 97V and 620 A A or Yokohama ENVigor 97V and 560 A A ?

The Michelin are $224.00 more plus tax than the Yokohama's is it worth it to spend this much more on the Michelins?

Thanks..

I'm deciding between the new Eagle Goodyear F1 Asymmetric or the Conti DWS.

The Conti DWS have been fine on my G35X and coupe. Getting good life out of them on both cars!
However, I got them for my coupe thinking they would improve traction in snow....which they did...but not enough for me to drive on snow in. If that makes sense.
So, I regret putting them on the coupe due to the soft sidewalls.
Wishing I had stuck with the Yoko S-Drives or tried another Yoko tire for the coupe. I haven't had anything but good experiences with Yokos's. Had a set of A/S Yoko's on my daughter's 00 Max and they did fantastic in the snowy NC mountains while at college. Plus they handled on dry pavement very well.
On the G35X they have been great. We don't push it much. Did great in the snow too.
Hope that helps. Check reviews on Tirerack and the interweb.

I have heard quite a few people complain about the soft side walls... but the OEM tires are Goodyear Eagle RSA's.... They can only be night and day difference in that comparison.

I have DWS on the sedan and I will be putting my stockers with DWS back on in a month or so. They do fair in snow but I still won't drive if there is more than a inch or so on the ground. I've yet found a tire that works well as an all-season that includes snow. The best tire I ever had that worked well in the snow was a set of Sumitomo HTR+ which had other issues.

It's about time for me to get new tires on the sedan so I'll be on the hunt again soon.
