So if my plan is to eventually make 500 whp, and actually be able to use it on the strip and street (and possibly the occasional street drift session). What size tires should I go with on the front and back.

My thoughts right now.
19x8 front wheels
19x9.5 rear wheels

I would love some advice on what tires to put on these so that I don't just spin, and I also need to be able to corner. Will the 9.5 in the rear not be wide enough to be able to use the power? It gonna be a daily driver, but it still needs to be able to embaress people on a green light.
Thoughts and comments needed. Also feel free to comment on offset for a flush fit because it looks deadly.

Your needs are all over the place. Street and strip and drift.

Street and track (with turns) you'll want a good Max or Ultra high performance summer tire. Possibly even a DOT legal racing tire, like the Toyo R-888 or R-1A. Those size wheels I'd recommend a 275 rear, 245 front stagger. I run Continental ExtremeContact DW on my Z, and I've been very happy with the first 2000 miles.

I don't know about drift tires, but I know you don't want them to stick. I'd ask Edgar (ArticDragon) about that.

Strip you should get a set of OEM TT rear wheels and some MT drag radials. 19" wheels will do s*** for straight line drag launches.
