I have to get a set of new front Tires for my 05 Sport Coupe and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to look for or get? Right now I have Falken's on the rear and am pissed that they dont make Falken's for the sizes in the front. I was thinking about Toyo's and have heard a lot of good things about them. Right now I am wearing down the Michellins that are on the front. Thats right I have Michellins on the front and Falken's on the rear since my rear Michellins wore out I wanted to try out a new tire and Falken is a great tire for a great price. I honestly believe that Michellins are completely over-rated not to mention their outrageous prices, but I guess you get what you pay for?

So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thank you!!!

I love my Toyo Proxies! 10x better than the OEM Bridgestones. My OEM tires were replaced at 13k...and I'm at 32k now with about 40-50% tread remaining! Plus they grip better in all conditions.

Do you have the Proxes 4 or the Proxe T1R ?

They are both great tires, the T1R's are def. awesome tires.

How often do you balance your tires? I have the OEM tires on my G37S and because you can not rotate them the dealer says to have them balanced every 7,500 miles?

You only need to balance the tires if you're getting shaking/wondering.

I have the T1R's

Hands down, the Toyo Proxes T1R is a miracle. Even when thew tire is worn, it still performas. Mine is worn completely and I still drive it hard and it still grips. In fact, the T1R behaves like slicks in dry conditions, after it has worn down. I am only going to change the tires because of rainy conditions. Other than that, I probably would use the tires until the wires start popping out of the rubber. Even after driving it hard on my secret track, I still managed to get 18K from the tires. If I had driven them normally, I probably would have at least another 5K miles or more to go. The front tires still look great. Of course, i am talking about my rear tires.

I did all my research from tirerack.com. The best that was suited for me, in terms of performance and price, was the Yokohama S Drive.
