I'm not gettin any love in the tire depot. so I thought I might try here. Can anyone post a pic of 215/45R17's on a 7.5" wheel. I picked up a "curb rashed" set of wheels for $40 and the guy at the tire store did some up-sizing math for me and came up with that tire size. I gots an S-13. Also, if it's not too much trouble to ask......................... whats the widest tire size that would fit the 7.5" wheel and won't rub on the strut. I don't know the offset but I test fitted them and they sit pretty flush if not a tad bit outside the fender. I'll probably, most likely, will have to do a roll. I'm fine with that. It's weird though, they have NO LIP but yet they sit flush. Thanks.

I used to run 215/45/17's on my 17x8's. I personally really liked it. In your case I'd prob. recommend running a 205 or so though. I can post some pics up of what they looked like tomorrow if you'd like me to. They were a slight stretch.. but not very much of one at all.

And are they flush in the air with no weight on them? Because if so then i'd say they're going to sink in about an inch or so when you put the weight of the vehicle on them. So don't account for rolling your fenders just yet.

Thanks for moving it. I put it in the 240 forum for a reason. I have a 240, was asking 240 owners, and I wasn't gettin any responses in the tire forum. Now I have 2 threads in the tire forum and now I probably won't get many more responses due to the minimal traffic here. (compared to that of the 240 section). I would very much apreciate it if you moved it back please.

Oh? Yeah, I did a test fit in the air. I had no idea they would sink in that much. I would love a couple pics. that would be great. I'm not much on square tires. I like the bulgy look and the stretched look. So if I can't get a bulge, wich I probably can't w/ 17's and low pro's, I'll take a slight stretch. Thanks nvrplzd240!

Here are some pics for ya bro.. Sorry it took so long.

These were 215/45/17 on my old 17x8 +35 FN's.

And I don't know if it makes any difference or not but here they are compared to my new 235/45's that weren't mounted on the new wheels yet..

Not at all, you did me a favor. Thanks. Yeah, It looks like it might be kinda square w/ 7.5" wheels. Thanks a bunch!
