I have a 06 Murano SL FWD, and I am looking to replace the OEM tires, they are the Goodyear Eagle LS. They have served well, but they do not seem to last very long, only have ~25000 miles on them. The guy at Discount tires suggested Yokahoma YK520 b/c of the 60K mile warranty. Does any one have experience with this tire on a murano? I have looked elsewhere but most reviews are based on cars and not SUVs

Any suggestions are welcomed. I would like to spend south of $850 for the set.

Thanks!

I have heard that the Yokahoma tires are very good tires, I believe you would be happy with them, escpecially with that kind of mileage.

About 15 years ago I bought a set of Yokahama 60k tires. They performed well but were EXTREMELY noisy. If a noisy tire bothers you you may want to look into this before you buy.

I have Yokohama tires on my Maxima and a minivan. I think they are a excellent buy, good handling and quiet riding tires. I think tire mileage guarantees are worthless because of the way are pro rated.

I have Yokahama tires on my Toyota Matrix and they have driven and lasted very well. I will be replacing tires on my Murano soon and will look at the Yoko's when I do.

Kumho now makes a KR21 tire for the Murano. It is an 85,000 mile tire and is half the price of the factory Goodyears. My dad and my brother have KR21's on their vehicles (not Muranos) and have no noise complaints.
