Well I was looking at the great faq about the different tires. All of these tires are really nice looking and sound great but I really don't feel like I fall in those classes.

My car is - 1992 240sx non turbo s13 stock rim 7 spoke alloy wheel (looks more like oily wheel now LOL)

- Price range is not really important

- the car needs to get me to work and home rain or shine. I live in Miami so rain is important since I'll be on the highway and there's alot of heat in Miami, so I don't want a wheel that will sound nasty when really hot.

- I will be driving to work every morning going and coming back 10-15 miles from my home. That's probably all it will see monday through thursday because I work around 10+ hours. lol Friday and the weekend I like to go out to my friends house ( 8-9 miles) then to the movies, eat, etc stuff like that.Mostly if not absolutely street/city use. lol

-Rain traction is important since it rains often enough and I'll be on the highway, just for a short while but I think it should be important. Also I think next to traction the most important thing as well is noise. I want it to make the least amount of sound. The closest I can get to no sound is better. Handling (my term would be that it feeels nice to turn . I probably wont be able to tell the difference anyway on handling I am green. I rarely drive outside of work and the weekend.

I thank you for your time dearly.

Awesome tire, costly, but still the win.

First of all thankyou very much for your prompt replies. Thank you

I am going to go for the michelin's.

195/60HR14 Would these be fine for my 240 sx wheels?Price is not a major factor as I am willing to shell it out on good tires.

EDIT: I foud out that is the tire size my 240sx. THank you again for the replys.

I recommend Bridgestone's Potenza RE950 directional rain tire, it rains a lot here in DE, and they've never failed me.

Ziexs for the win. They are awesome all around tires. In the rain they're very grippy. I can go 80 without hydroplaning one bit.

215-50-15 would be a better choice no? Or even the 205-60-15 that the sportier models got?

215-50-15 is too small, lowers the load index, and is too wide for a stock S13 alloy. (they were only 6" wide...)

a 205-55-15 would be a better option, keeps the load index close, OD close, and is approved for the rim width, and is a MST approved fitment on the car.

Exar kun I am going ahead with those exaltos. I was wondering about that 205-55-15. Are you sure they will fit because I looked at other websites and they always say 205-60-15(<-- This is cheaper why)? I know they sell it but It would ruin my day if I get to the installer after getting the tires shipped(TireRack) and they don't fit or work well.

THank you so much for your time.

Overall if 205-55-15 fits which one should I go for? Save 100 dollars more and get the 55 over the 60?
