Do you have a budget in mind?
Do you store your car when temps drop and just need summer tires or do you need some all-season tires?
If you do need all-season tires do you need a lot of snow & ice traction or just an all-season/cold resistant rubber compound?
You also mentioned you wanted something gripper and longer lasting than the OEM tires. While that's certainly possible in regards to the stock tires you should keep in mind that typically more grip and longer life are mutually exclusive traits in a tire. All other things being equal a tire with a longer life will usually provide less grip.
Other people here can chime in with what they run to give you some help (your question gets asked every few months and I really think it's time for stickied tire thread). I am currently running General Excalims for the warmer months but I'm getting ready to switch over to Bridgestone RE960AS tires before the temps drop much more.
