My 2009 M35X is at about 128K miles and may be sold within 12-18 months. My Toyo Versado tires have been very good to me but they need to be replaced. New Toyos cost about $300 each installed - looking to pay max $200 in case I sell the car. Pep Boys has 4 Cooper C S4 tires for about $700 - installed. Anyone have experience with these Cooper tires or have another suggestion? I drive fast but not aggressive - all - season - V rated tires work fine for me being in Northern NJ.

Yes, I have cooper tires.

I did all my research on suitable tires for my M35 and came up with 2 or 3 tires I thought appropriate. One was Hancook like what I had PEP boys put on my previous BMW 540 Sport.
Well, they didn't stock the ones for my Infiniti!

So I asked the guy what they had for my car and I added that a quiet tire was mandatory!

I've had the Coopers on for 6-8 months including the start of a very wet rainy season. They are the quietest tires I have had for some time. They handle real well on curvy back roads I travel each Monday for Rifle practice. And rain performance was not sacrificed.

As an aside, this 20 mile trip on back roads was a real eye opener about this car. I traveled this road for 3 years with the BMW 540 and was concerned the M35 would be no where close to the 540 Sport. Not a problem! The Infiniti is not quite as good as the 540, but if I stay somewhat safe, there is no difference in handling and the power is also close ( BMW had 282 HP and I believe the Infiniti is 275).

Hankook S1 Noble2 tires are somewhat cheap and good performers. Check them out and see what the price is. Also ask about a different size +/- from what you currently have. Sometimes going to a 245/45/19 is cheaper and doesnt change much than the stock 245/40/19

Just get some Continental ExtremeContact DWS. Best bang for the buck and should be under $200 at that size.
