I am buying new tires for my '90 240. I was sold a set of bridgestone knockoff things. They were called Widetrack HRs. The guy at my tires plus only had 3 and not 4, it was aggravating, so he put on the S model. They blow. (extremely sloppy handling and horrible grip) I am going to try out the HR's tomorrow but if anyone has any other suggestions to a good priced (about $80 a tire) performance tire (something directional) then please let me know.

Your best choice would be FAlken Azenis Sport. The best all around tire. Traction is great, price in simply awesome. Bad news is that it wouldn't last for a long. I had a set on my previous car (Integra GSR), and I'll put them on my 240SX with no hesitation when I'll get to wheels and tires.
