I'm approaching 15K. getting the oil changed tomorrow...should i get the brakes checked out and tires balanced? What's the approximate life on stock '06 Z tires since they can't be rotated?

well -according to the dealership, the tires last roughly 20 - 22,000 miles and the brakes should be checked around 25K...but those are approximations anyhow...everyone has different driving habits. At 15K, he recommended I get the tires balanced and the air filter changed.

CAB and fly, make sure the place where you are getting your tires swapped across has a tread depth/wear meter. It will check the tread depth I believe in 32nds of an inch. See if they are wearing properly if not you may need an alignment and / or swap across.. These factory tires wear fast if you get 20k to 22K miles out of them congratulations. I will probably get 12k to 15k on mine. I will switch to another tire when I change them. But back to you every oil check have them check your tread wear and feel the tires often because a car like this can go out of alignment quick and your tires will wear 2 times as fast. Good luck.

It depends on how you drive your car. When you take it for the oil change have them check the tread depth. You can always pull of a tire to check your brake pads.

Your brakes should be ok. Due to the soft compound of the tires if you drive with a heavy foot the rears will be starting to thin out. Have them check the tread depth for you. Also, they should perform a complimentary multi-point inspection where they check brakes and things of that sort.
