sounds like an *ok* deal. I'd try to talk him down a bit though. Little on the steep side I think.

Is that the year that they had the gun metal looking wheels?I saw a blue one for sale the othe day with said wheels and it was clean. The car lot wanted much more than the one you are looking at.I say go for it and throw a SR with a top mount in it!;)Whoops! The model I was talking about was the 94 body style. The 91 has a more flat rear w/ a trunk.I know of 2 91's in my area with the SR20DET in them! They should be at the March 8th meet!

Gunmetal? You sure you aren't thinking of the 99 Sentra SE-L?

Oh, and a top mount intercooler on an SR won't fit under the stock hood of a B13. You have to go front mount, or cut a hole in the hood.

Jez... the 99 is a B14. We have B15's. The 99 is the same chassis from 95-99.

So a full rebuild is not needed if you have a low milage SR20DE to add the turbo and run moderate boost?

Correct, SR20DE's are very strong stock. They use the same crank and rods as the DET. You can easily get 250+ hp to the ground on a turbo'd DE, pretty much regardless of age.

RB...impossible, or nearly anyway, for all practical purposes.

AWD SR20DET...possible. I'd imagine you can adapt the AWD drivetrain from the primera (same car as the G20). After all, the transversly mounted SR20DET is really made for the AWD car ;)

Actually I know of 4 B13s that have the BB DET dropped in it locally with the top mount and no clearance issues. They are the ones that Jezter was referring to.

I wouldn't have thought so either until I saw a few hehe.

I would still rather run a FMIC though.
