I know a guy who is willing to sell me a new set of tires and wheels at an outrageously good deal... the only question i have is that they are only 7.5 width tired and rims. Is that a bad idea to run on my 04 touring 350z? The bolt pattern and everything else fits just fine.

Thanks guys!

that will be an unbelievable offset to fit your well, so they dont go so far under the wheel well. Did you put them on your car already to check them out or, or they still on his? 7.5 is not common but if you like them at a good deal then do what makes you happy not everyone else. Especially if you like the style. If you can possibly post us a pic of them us knuckleheads are always looking for wheel styles.

the width is really not that big of an issue, what you need to look at is the offset of the rims... If you can post specs of the rim with offset I can tell you how far in or out the tire will sit in the wheel well.

well i dont track the car or anything like that... most of the fun i have in it actually doesnt involve traction anyways haha. Im more worried about how it will look with skinny tires and if the traction would be bad enough that it would affect my daily driving!

I will bet the offset will be short of where they need to be since it was for an EVO) in your wheel well. Kinda skinny in the back like he said. Maybe just put them on first before you buy if you cant post specs.

yes thats a bad idea for any year/trim 350Z...... it will look like dragster front wheels are on the back of your car.... i think everyones front wheels are wider than that. And what kind of clown was gonna put 7.5" rims on an evo?.... Most of those guys go 8.5+ all 4 corners

some guy told me one time that had an evo.. that smaller rims all around was better for track than the thicker rims..... but idk, never messed with AWD rims... just kept the stock on VR

If you have VDC, then this is not a deal. The tire size on the wheels will be the wrong size for your car and would throw your VDC off. The only remedy would be putting the stock tire size on your new wheels, which would mean more mula. If you only have TCS you should be fine. The fit won't be perfect, but it should work. Just not a good idea.

I say go for it.... then post up pics so I can have a good laugh. The wheels are the wrong width, wrong offset, and the tires are way smaller than OE diameter and width. It's so wrong in every way.
