Well its that time.....or past that time to put some new rubber on my Altima. It’s a 2002 3.5se auto and my wife drives it to work 3 or 4 days a week on the interstate (about 110 mile round trip). So I am looking for something good but not too expensive. I was pretty satisfied with he stock tires. I have over 54K miles on it and it is just now getting to the point where they need replacing, thanks to many rotations.

Any preference on brands and or prices?

Hoosier AS303's man. Gotta grip.

Seriously, I was really happy with siped Nitto NT-450's Dane. When we made that 100+mph banzai run to BG from Louisville back in October of '02 they performed very well in the wet and were decent when we got some snow. I think I paid around $100 apiece for 16's.

What are the stock tires?

I highly recommend the Falken FK451s. I have them on the Spec and the Stanza and love them and they are reasonably cheap.

I like the Falken Ziex. They have a 420 tread wear rating and grip quite well for al season tires. I paid 56 bucks each for 205-60-15's
