flammable spray plus fire = stretched tire :bigthumb:
there are lots of videos on youtube of this. Its also referred to as red neck tire beading. Or you can call around to shops and see if they do it. Some will have a special tool that blows air rapidly into the tire, basically an air cannon that stretched the bead out.

I no and i found all the videos and ive done my research. Im not asking for videos on how to do it yourself i was asking if there are any known places where they do tire stretching for you. I dont want to eff up a 100 tire by trial and error.

oh I guess I misread what you wrote to. but I really doubt your going to mess up a tire, they are build to withstand abuse from the road. the only thing I would be worried about is mounting the tire because if you use a bar to slide across it might scratch your wheel. but you could probably just put a towel under it.

The tool is called a cheetah, a lot of big name shops won't do it, for insurance reasons, better of with some sort of specialty shop if its something you really want to do.

and if you cant find anywhere try a trucking/bus place. they usually mount tires with a cheetah.

The people at Tires Plus used a cheetah to mount 215/45/17 on my 9" wheels. I saw they had some trouble mounting it regularly, so I asked, "don't you guys have a cheetah?" and bam, mountage. No extra charge, no paper signing, just regular tire mounting. But like valient said, it's a major liability for the shop. I even talked to the manager about it and he was like, "Nah, we can mount it. the sidewalls are just a little stiff bc of the cold weather."

You're already messing up the tire by stretching it. There are only negatives and drawbacks from doing this.

get smaller tires, that also stretches your tire but only to an extent i got work xd9 rims on my 97 and im runnning 245/40/18 in the rear with 18x10 offset of 18 or 20 on the rear i think and they stretch very nicely
