I just got a staggered set of 15X8's for the front and 15X10's for the rear. Not looking for a radical look, just more rigidity. Thinking around 215/60 in the 8" fronts. What would be an equivalent look on a 10" wheel? ne one even run 15's that wide?

lol... damn, do they even make tires to accomodate a 15x10? I can't say off the top of my head that I've seen tire charts that have a 235/50-60/15... I could be wrong tho.

you can get r and a compound tires in like 275/50/15, but i cant think of any street tires in that size

I found a set of 225/60/R15's. They're BFG's , maybe Radial T/A's or something... any chance of those making it sidewall to sidewall? I don't want it to look like my wheels just threw in a dipper. Whoa, redneck...

while 225 on a 10 is doable, those tires will have a lot of sidewall so its going to look funny...theyre taller than any tire that came stock

It's basic math man... 1" = 25.4mm - so figure that out into your tire size, that will give you the first #. For the 2nd number, assuming you know how tire profile size works, choose one that will keep your tire height the same (or whatever height you are aiming for).

EDIT: I'll even give you a formula for the first # since I feel nice :p (you don't even need to know that 1" = 25.4mm at this point).

215 / 8 = x / 10

solve for x.

Hope you didn't skip that day in math class .

And to apply that formula to your new tire sizing...

y / 8 = 225 / 10.

solve for y :p

*doubt you'll want to really run the tire size that comes up tho, it's tiny to keep the same stretch ratio.
