Tire stretching help!!

I got a set of wheels with a 240 i bought and wanted to no what would be a good size tire to stretch. I was thinking 215/40. The wheels are 17x9. Also does it matter what kind of tire, like does a certian brand of tires stretch better than others? thanks

And yes, the brand makes a difference as well. At Import Alliance this past weekend, some of my stance friends recommended Falken 452's for really good stretch.

Also, to get fitment ideas on your specific car, input your wheel and tire sizes + offsets in WillTheyFit.com. This will help gauge what other factors you may need to change based on whether or not your going for stance, camber, or whatever. Hope this helps.
