I need help with this decision..

My wheels are 18x8 and 18x9. Long story, but i'm currently running Fuzion Zri 235/40/18's on all four wheels.. It looks terrible having a very square front fit and a very nice mild stretch on the rear!

So I need new front tires! What size? My gut is that the best size for the fronts would be something like a 215/40/18, or even a 215/35/18. Am I correct on that?

Here's the bind.. and the reason I ask for help right now.

I found a local guy selling a set of 4 bridgestone Potenza REO40's in a 225/45/18 for $125.. they look to have a lot of tread left! It's a great deal!

But will these tires still look funny? Will they solve my problem? Is the 225 still going to look square? Will the 45 height look stupid compared to the 40's on the back?

Help!

$125 is a great deal, but I don't think it will give you the look you are going for. It will probably turn out the same because it will be slightly narrower, but the sidewalls slightly taller ending up in it being a wash.

I would save your $125 and put it towards the 215/40's that you want.
