Hey guys I would like to know if any of you had these size tires on your wheels and if possible if you could post pictures of the wheel from the side of the car so I can see the size difference between both. Any help you guys can give me is thankful. I bought a set of wheels and You guys are guaranteed to like them once I buy the proper tires and put them on. The sizes are 225/45/18 and 235/40/18

Thanks in advance. Ricky C.

If I were you, I'd go with the 225/45/18s. The stock tire has a diameter of 26.3. The 225/45 have a diameter of 26.0 That's only .3 off which will not make a whole lot of difference in speedo or odometer. However, if you ge tthe 235/40, the diameter is 25.4. Your speedo will be running faster (3.5%) thus recording an inaccurate odometer reading. Now, if you can get 235/45/18, that tire is the same dimension as stock! Bad thing about that is, that size is an odd ball size so the tire will be more expensive than if you got the 225/45's

Hope that helps in your decision

Thanks for the info dude. What other sizes are available for me to get? My car is stock height. I don't have any plans to lower the car. I have a toy car that's 3-4 inches off the floor. The wheels are 18x8. The sizes I had in mind were the 225/45/18 and 235/40/18. Thanks

Ricky C.

I'm going to change my wheels. My friend wants them bad and he already gave me a downpayment on them.

Well I'm just looking for pictures so I can see what size I would prefer. That's why I would like you guys to post pictures so I can see the specs with my eyes of how they look on the car. Thanks dude.
