Tire size upgrade

My car came with a 235/45/R18 tyres. Are there other Tyre sizes anyone here can suggest to me?
Each time I mistakenly get into a pothole while driving, the low profile tyres just gets deformed, or damaged

Well I have a stock 07 sport with the 19 inch wheels. Not sure what you're looking for but I've been running the stock 245-50-19 up front, and 265-35-19 in the rear.

Original size is 245/45R18 which has more side wall than 235/45R18.
You can up size it to 255/45R18 for beefier side wall.
DO NOT go 245 50 19 as it's way too big.
It will have incorrect speedometer and odometer.

Ah yes, I wrote 245-50-19, I meant 245-40-19. Correction
